The onion's soup, the meat and the scargouts are excellent as usual. Good place for lunch with family and friends.

This place has been in place since 1958, although in another location. The sons of the founder followed the tradition. After a few months , we decided to go back, in the middle of the food crisis and high inflation that is affecting Venezuela. The escargots were still very good , although the price was 400% higher (as they are an imported). The cream of tomato was good too. As main courses we had grouper "meuniere" which was fantastic. To finish their classic strawberry tartelette.
To drink, we had beer and lemonade.
As wine on the glass, they had a Spanish Rioja which we skipped, due to the high price.
However if you are a foreign tourist, the prices will be cheap for you as the bill for 2 amounted to only US$ 29 with 10% tip included.

Despite the excellent quality of the food, and even better desserts, the service wasn't fast enough and the bathrooms need an update.

Arrived a Saturday at 3pm for lunch and found a tired-vague-slow crew. Entrees very limited and graceless. Our main plate: Tenderloin Medallions in Oporto Sauce, was delicious. Same medallions in 3 sauce Oporto-Bernaisse-Mustard were either great. But much disappointed not finding my old favorite Prawns Vol au Vent, the reason I went to this restaurant. The last 3 times visited the restaurant it happened the same. Reason: in Venezuela its now impossible to find european butters to make the millefeuille dough, as well as other main ingredients for french cuisine almost impossible to find, a very hard job for the chef. Several items in the menu were not available. I am not an escargots fan, but they were still there in the menu. Found a worn-out and tired place. It used to be a top one. Not now.
