“Good national park, lots to do”
Reviewed November 22, 2013

An excellent park in general, and great for those interested in civil war history. There's the displays, the documentary, and a driving cell phone tour. Sadly the weather was poor when I visited but with the clever phone tour you do get all the information about the place you could ever want. Cannons set up on the tour was very cool, great views at the overlook and of the battlefield in general. Totally unspoiled by development which is always great to see. My only criticism would have to be with the phone tour; some of the narration left a lot to be desired, to be honest I could have done a better job.

“A very nice Civil War Park”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

I will keep this short and sweet. The gift shop is nice. There was a film that was excellent and interesting that explains the Battle of Pea Ridge's roll in the Civil War. The film was shown on a TV because the projector was broken, that was kind of lame, but the film was still good. There is a self guided drive through the park that was good and had many points to stop on. It takes 30 minutes to drive if you don't stop, but you should.

“Great History”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

Enjoyed my Autumn visit to the park, both for the chance to learn some history and to see the trees changing color. Beautiful place, and very informative.

“Go in the fall”
Reviewed October 22, 2013 via mobile

Beautiful, quiet park, about 30 minutes drive from Bentonville. There is a good road through the park, with lots of cannons and interpretive signage. There is a scenic overlook near the middle of the loop and with the abundance of trees it is best seen in the fall.

“An excellent experience”
Reviewed October 20, 2013

A well preserved site with easy markers and good access. A road circuit leads to points of onterest that are well documented. A really good visitor centre with excellent audio visual presentation.
See the presentation and centre display first. It really helps to make sense of the battlefield.
