One of the most jaw dropping spots on Easter Island. It reminded me of Crater Lake National Park in Oregon but this one is much smaller. From the main viewpoint, you can take a full shot of the volcano with a 16mm wide-angle lens - or take a panoramic shot. When we were there, the weather was picture perfect and the blue ocean waters behind the crater added to the gorgeous scenery. Within the lake, there are some rare plants that grow nowhere else in the world and some have even been used for medicinal purposes. If you have the time, hike around to the other side.
