Hospitality with a genuine heart....hospitalidad con genuino corazon

My husband and I wanted a place to just relax before heading back home!~our friend Steve suggested Estancia El Rosario~perfect~From the moment we arrived at Estancia we were welcomed by Florencia and Francisco "Pancho" and inmediatly treated like "welcome home" "be at home" and we were!~delicious meals, healthy, fresh and innovative with a careful selection of wines from the region and amazing conversation!~It's evident that Florencia and Francisco have not only invested in raising a large family, they have invested in themselves and in their home!~all is reflected and projected in their wonderful Estancia. Humble yet confortable and elegant a fantastic place to stay!~Their staff is efficient, competent and very sensitive. The rooms are spacious, very clean, confortable and with a "country flavor".

The town few miles away is right down home!~is small, friendly and with a very good selction of home made leather and very unique crafs!as well as restaurants, shops, ...etc!~

I place we will come back!~A place we will invite you to explore!~

Our best to Florencia and Pancho!~ Salud, prosperidad y abundancia!~

Abrazos!~ Maria +Manuel/Miami

This is a very charming, idyllic getaway from Buenos Aires. My husband and I were welcomed by the owners of the estancia who spent time with us and really did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and at home. The rooms were peaceful, beautifully and comfortably decorated in a cottage style, well maintained, quiet, clean and comfortable. The food was perfect. We visited in October, a beautiful time of year on the estancia and very quiet as it was not yet the "high season." We only stayed one night but highly recommend staying at least two to more fully unwind and also to get a chance to see the absolutely wonderful nearby (10 minute taxi ride) town of San Antonio de Areco. This storybook perfect little village is a must see (great gelato, pretty cathedral, kind people, lovely shops).

We had read the reviews on TripAdvisor and were very excited to go to Rosario de Areco. The people were very nice, the food and the service were excellent but the estancia is on a MAJOR two lane highway. The noise from the highway was unrelenting, even throughout the night. We were looking for a quiet getaway from Buenos Aires but did not get it, which was a disappointment.

Just a quick note, for anybody wanting to visit Argentina. I have been travelling around the world for many years and it is very rare to find a place that ticks all the boxes. This is exactly what my family and I found at " El Rosario de Areco ", we were treated as part of the family, greeted by the owners and felt welcomed straight away.
The rooms were comfortable and very well kept, the food was amazing everytime especially the traditional argentine asado(definately worth travelling 6000 miles for!!).
We were interested in exploring the town of san antonio de areco and the owners arranged a taxi for us to go and informed us of all the right places to go(very impressive).
We were also offered riding and polo lessons with the owners sons. Who were just as hospitable and friendly as their parents.
All in all a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable holiday. Highly recommendable.

This is a place that is fantastic due to the warmth of the owners. Few people open their place as if they are invite their friends to eat.
Very special place that show Argentina culture.
Worth visiting
