I had a great experience at Paradores Dragui. I choosed this place because of the reviews of Trip Advisor and it was great to prove that this little hotel is really amazing.

The staff is very friendly and nice, the place is very beautiful, with a colonial style, sculptures, fountains and a very pleasant garden. The sollarium where breakfast is served is so pretty and unique. Very remarkable! The location is also very good, close to the city square, the river and just 8 block from the bus station.

They have 5 pretty rooms divided in bed room, bathroom and a little living room with fridge, microwave and some chairs. And the price, with all that, is really fair. What else can you ask?

It's a great place to be and I'm sure that Paradores Draghi was a real boost in my weekend in San Antonio de Areco. I'll be back!

Wonderful b&b in San Antonio de Areco, just one block off the main square. Actually if you go out the front door of their siver shop you are right on the main square. Lovely rooms, breakfast area and grounds with pool. Some people on TA have had negative comments on the breakfast. They offered you toast, coffee, juice (it wasn't really great) and medialunes, cereal, and fruit. Really what more do you want? The rooms have small bar fridges and they also supply towels for the pool. The staff were all very nice as were Lucita and her sister who are part of the family Draghi. There are a couple of old bikes that you can take out to cruise around the town, but they sure could use some maintenance. We met a lot of repeat visitors there, mostly Argentinians, but also some fellow Canadians. It really is the place to stay in Areco in my opinion. Try it!!

There is not much that we can add to the host of stirling reviews that are here already, except to say that there are not enough of them! Lucilla and Valeria are not only two of the nicest people that ever crossed your path, but are also helpful above and beyond the call of duty. San Antonio de Areco is a gem of a town and Paradores Draghi is without doubt, one of its finest facets. Travelling with a three year old is never easy, but we enjoyed ourselves tremendously: we had a self catering unit which was fully equipped and great for making dinners and preparing our excursion picnics. Of course, the pool was a life saver and the only problem is that if you do stay here, you may not want to leave.....

I called early in the morning and reserved a room for two nights as I had seen the hotel on the internet and like that it had a pool surrounded by a grassy area. It was very appealing to me because I wanted to relax for the last two days of a very exhausting trip in Argentina. We then took the bus from Buenos Aires and arrived two hours later. When we arrived we discovered that their was construction right next to the pool area (we were not informed about this earlier) and we asked if the construction workers would also be there the next day and the person working confirmed that they would not be. We decided to stay even though we had a second option with room available. We were given our room and the worker told us that someone would be there at 4:30 to take our document information so we went for a walk and returned at 4:30 but still no one was there. At 7:00 someone finally arrived and when we went to give our document information, they had given the second night away to someone who had called. My relaxing day turned into walking around for two hours trying to find a hotel room for the next day as our second option was now booked.

The owners and workers of the hotel were unprofessional and had no remorse only excuses for giving our reservation away. It was very hard to get in touch with someone and it’s apparent that they are more concerned with their silver work and museum than their hotel guests. I would spend your money elsewhere because the hotel is not worth the money.
