We stayed here for 3 nights. The town is tiny but the hotel is still well positioned for a short walk to some excellent restaurants including El Huemul y Maffia & La Tapera, both recommended by the hotel.
Julieta on the front desk was very helpful advising us on weather, best way to approach trails & organising transport to the start of one trail. She also got up early to see us off the day we left, as we had to make a 930am plane from El Calafate, making us coffee with a lovely tea cake.
Unfortunately one day we had gale force winds so couldn't hike, (100km/hr + gusts & snow up in park all day - not uncommon in Spring we were told). However the rooms were very large & well appointed including Cable TV that could be changed to English (very helpful) so we stayed in & relaxed. Breakfast is also nice with a small but lovely selection. More
