Description: One of the best places to eat out in Shiraz. Serves local traditional food, which is cooked in the open kitchen right in front the dining hall. Excellent food quality, but slow service. English menu available.Terrific value - about USD 8 per person, but it's not a fast food! No web-site, but the place is mentioned a lot. I cannot speak about the food as we never got to that point. To make the long story short, we gave up after an hour of waiting for the waiter to get our orders and left hungry.
We arrived there at around 7:30 for dinner and had to look around for a bit to find a clean table as they hadn't yet been cleaned from the previous customers' mess.
the toilets were extremely dirty which may not be a surprise if you've ever traveled to Iran (except for Tehran) but, for some reason, I had higher expectations from a well-reviewed restaurant

I traveled to Shiraz with a group of gutty friends and we have a very memorable night at Shater Abbas.
The place is traditional and the service was good. staff were friendly and did not respond aggressively to our noisy group!
The food was delicious, however, my dish was not hot enough. We tasted several dishes, all were ok, but not something too much exceptional!

In comparison to the Tehran Branch (If it is the branch!), this restaurant in Shiraz was really great. we heard that there are two branches in Shiraz. we tried the one in Khakshenasi St.

This restaurant is a traditional Iranian one . I guess not all the food is good . For example I tried fesenjan which was too sweet and I didn't really liked it .

But tahchin is very good And if you like kebab it is also good .

But the service is very slow , you have to ask waiters several times to bring the food .

The one plus is that they are open for lunch till 5 or 6 which is good if you are going to have late lunch because most restaurants will be closed at 4 .

We came at a busy time but were given service. We had to get the waiters attention a few times as he was hustling many tables. It was fun to see all the people, and they looked like local people going out for a good dinner. It was close quarters with families sitting next to us. Food was great and the menu had many selections, such as lamb chops, kebabs, chicken, etc. Hope to visit again! We couldn't understand the desert menu as it seemed they had some kind of baked puddings, but we didn't know for sure.
