Nice looking place. The main dining hall is quite impressive and its quite welcoming with a real fire in the main bar. The lady who served us was quite pleasant but there was no real welcome. The service was quite good and the food was ok but not as good as it should be given the price. I had a beef bourginion which was £16.95 but I would say it was no better than any old beef stew you would expect to get in a pub for £8 or £9. It was as if it had ambitions for its food which it had not yet achieved but was charging for it anyway. Won't be going back.
