We had a very pleasant lunch today. The service was good and my Thai crab cakes were very tasty. Extremely good value.

We stayed in The Coach House, a nearby self catering cottage, and decided to venture out for Sunday lunch but unfortunately left it a bit late, arriving at the Corn Exchange at 3pm. Sadly they were no longer serving food but the landlord was extremely helpful, going above and beyond by helping us with phone numbers for other local pubs and directing us down to the Bell, a mile further down the road. So helpful in fact, that we thought it only fair to drop in for a pint on the way back. A charming and extremely well price pub, we decided to stay for a few and asked for the beer garden, which the landlord very proudly informed us he had just 'finished'... it turned out to be a couple of picnic benches in the car park! Actually, with a well constructed roof and wood chip on the ground it was very pleasant area and more than comfortable - kept the 4 of us entertained for a good few hours on a lazy Sunday afternoon - highly recommended!

We have had lunch here many times but have never put pen to paper. Today the 21st May we had lunch there again and not only was it first class but the presentation was first class. We would not hesitate to recommend this small restaurant to anyone visiting Crickhowell.

Went oin a few times on a visit to Crickhowell - firstly for an evening drink ,and then for a lunchtime snack. Drinks prices were the lowest we found in town. For lunch we had panini - very large portions, well filled and reasonably priced.

We dropped in to the Corn Exchange on two occasions and received a friendly welcome. The beer was an excellent price at £2.40 and went down very well. We did not eat on either occasion, but others were, and the plates were well-laden with standard food. Could not resist dropping back in later for some Sambuccas at £1.50 each!
