“Stunning barn conversion, spectacular views, relaxing break”
Reviewed March 15, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Stayed at Gwedd y Glyn with friends with small children for a few nights. This is a stunning barn conversion which caters exceptionally well for children with many toys, highchairs, travel cot etc being provided along with children's bowls, cutlery etc. The bedrooms were lovely with very comfortable beds, plenty of room to fit cots in 3 of the bedrooms. We had a lovely warm welcome from Susan when we arrived who gave us a thorough guide through the house and was helpful in recommending things to do and places to eat in this area. There were essential items provided such as milk, cake, coffee and tea on our arrival. The owners even left the children Easter eggs when we left, such a very sweet and touching thought. My 18 month old loved the ponies that would come to eat hay outside the kitchen window over the road every morning. There were a couple of stone steps leading down from the kitchen into the entrance hall/snug lounge but it wasn't an issue even with our 18 month old, we just closed the kitchen door etc. Would highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing weekend or longer. We had some lovely walks and could have stayed longer. Many thanks Susan and Iwan

This was our 3rd holiday at Gwedd Y Glen holiday barn, travelled with 4adults a nearly 8yr old and 2.5yr old.
Truely an amazing place to stay for a few days. Alway have such a warm welcome.

The barn feels so much like home very equipped with all your every day needs love the kitchen spend a lot of time cooking/baking there, always so tidy and clean.

Kids can never get bored as there are plenty of games, puzzles toys to keep them occupied.

Beautiful views to look out on especially mornings as the sun is rising, lots of lovely walks with in the area.

Cannot fault this place at all. Looking forward to our 4th visit,

Thank you Susan, Iwan, Elin and family for a lovely break away..

“Lovely house, perfect location”
Reviewed January 3, 2016 for a stay in January 2016

We spent New Year 2015 here with nine adults, 2 babies, a toddler and a young child, we all thoroughly enjoyed our time.

The welcome was warm the building itself is phenomenal and the walks through the gorgeous scenery were terrific.

The cottage is finished to a high standard with a very generously sized kitchen, perfect for large parties. We were very impressed at how well the property catered for the children with plenty of toys and game's provided along with a couple of high chairs.

Overall we we all very happy and can not recommend the place enough.

“Beautiful x”
Reviewed April 26, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Met by the lovely Susan, we were made to feel "at home" within minutes and would highly recommend a stay here to anyone. The warmth of the barn, the hosts, the people we met while we were there made us feel "friends" not visitors. A beautiful setting with walks in every direction to tempt and tease you to explore. A MUST to visit is the wonderful local church (St David's) where generations of families have stories to tell. You can easily lose yourself as you watch the sunrise and set from this incredible place. The peaceful setting, the barn itself will always hold a special place in my heart, another stay already in the planning. Beautiful x

“A perfect property.”
Reviewed November 19, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Our family of 9 stayed at this property in August 2014, the accommodation is stunning, the area is beautiful and every possible thing you could need is supplied to make your holiday a success, there was 3 small children in our party and they loved every minute because of the space and area out side to run and play, children's slides and games are all there, including a paddling pool complete with a hose and out side water supply.
The area is very rural so a vehicle is a must, having said that the walk to the nearest town is very pleasant along the river, and when you arrive you can sit and have coffee, a drink or even lunch at a very nice little restaurant which backs onto the river( sorry can't remember the name) , obviously in Wales you can't garantee the weather, but if you were as lucky as we were you will have a wonderful time.

“Recommend it to anyone :)”
Reviewed August 31, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Wonderful converted barn in a wonderful location! All the modern facilities anyone could wish for, with views that are hard to find. Our holiday visit was for a family of 5 adults and 2 kids and there was room to spare. Only a short trip to the village of Llanwrtyd Wells for supplies. Owners of Gwedd y Glynn couldn't do any more to make sure we had a lovely stay and were happy, which of course we were. Would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone wanting a base to explore the beauty of Wales.
