“Lovely hosts in a very comfortable house in a beautiful area”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2009

Our stay was a delightful experience! We were struck by the grace and friendliness of the hosts who gave their time readily for advice or a chat, and were seemingly always available. They have the gift of making you feel special and totally welcome in their home. We were allowed access to our room and the very comfortable guest lounge throughout the day, something that we have not found in many B&B's.

Breakfast was superb with healthy fruit salad, through cereals of various sorts, toast and the not so healthy but absolutely scrumptious full English.

If you are looking for B&B in Mid Wales you would be very lucky indeed to find anything to better this! It's the sort of accommodation that makes you feel "I wish I could stay for a few more nights".

My wife and I spent a weekend here when the Hay on Wye festival was on. The owners are very hospitable and relaxed. They made us feel very welcome and kept the guest house immaculately clean.

Llanwrytd Wells offers some cracking pubs and we had an excellent meal in the Carlton Riverside and enjoyed the surrounding beautiful countryside. If like us you enjoy a good breakfast, home made cake and a relaxed atmosphere we wholeheartedly recommend this guest house.

I stayed two nights with two friends on a mountain biking jaunt. The accomodation is very clean, comfortable, well-appointed and generally of a high quality. The breakfast is to die for - a broad selection of high quality and lovingly prepared traditional fare, served with pride and a smile. But the best thing of all is the hospitality: nothing is too much trouble for the hosts and they will go out of their way to make sure your stay is a pleasurable one. I would return in a flash, and may even plan a family holiday in LLanwrtyd Wells because I know how good this guest house is.

Went to stay with June and Eugene for the May bank holiday. Want a lovely place a real 'home from home'. Nothing was too much trouble, it was fabulous having the dog and cat there, they are no trouble and appreciate a friendly stroke. The breakfast was heaven and set us up for the day, which was helpfully planned out by June. We managed to see so much in a weekend and know that as there is so much more to see another stay is a must. The smallest town even managed to have Elvis visiting the same weekend as us and really livened up the place. A weekend to remember for a long time. Thanks to you both.
