“Lucky Gem of a find !”
Reviewed January 26, 2013 via mobile

Visited Pembrokeshire for a few nights getaway , when we arrived at our cottage the weather was horrendous , driving rain and roads flooded after a five hr drive ;-/ to make matters worse i had no internet connection and no idea where we were lol. We quickly turned ourselves around and headed out, five mins down the road and facing a potential Chinese take away as the only option we stumbled across this place (luckily my wife spotted some diners in he window as it doesn't stand out as a restaurent) . We were warmly greated and offered a table confidently near a little heater as we were froze. Staff were friendly enough and decor modern and nice. Menu is a fancy Italian one, we always opt for the antipasti share board and this one didnt dissapoint with lots of nice nibbles. It was fairly large and we were glad we had shared one ! My wife had the lamb shoulder which was succulent and full of flavour, I had the spicey sausage pasta which could have been spicier if I'm honest but was nice enough. Morretti beer was to pricey but it is wherever you go these days. Bill came in under fifty quid and I was happy with what we had had, would really recommend this place. It seems it's the only proper restaurent in Fishguard and we would go back for sure.

Okish for a cold December night.....but might have helped to warm up the dining rooms. Partner's pasta was good but my risotto lacked soul unfortunately...got the impression it was pre-prepared rice overdone and not a hint of parmesan. Roast onion and pine nut salad was good though.

“Nice food, but overall nothing special”
Reviewed December 14, 2012

Went here for the first time with a group of friends/colleagues a few weeks ago. The place was nicely decorated and comfortable, and the food was lovely, especially the main. The dessert was interesting, a chocolate brownie covered in a slightly overpowering herb of some sort. The staff were very young but friendly. The only critisisms were that the delivery of the food was a bit slap dash - we had to wait while the final main course choice was brought out, meaning the food on the table was getting chilly as we were politely waiting for all the meals. Also the tea/coffee arrival was slightly disorganised, and an almightly draught blew in towards the end of the meal, making everyone reach for coats etc.
Overall, I would come back as the food was lovely, but maybe in a small, less formal group this time.

“Amazing food, amazing service. Great place to eat”
Reviewed November 19, 2012 via mobile

I've been here so many times with my family, such a great place. The Tapas nights are amazing and the food is so good, the Greek nights are also amazing, and you get to try so many different foods. For the quality of food you get the price really isn't that bad, the choice of wine is also great and of very good quality. Fantastic place to eat and a really friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to everyone :)
