“Wonderful comfortable base for exploration and relaxation!”

Brodog Court has clearly been planned by Jenny and Neil with the practical needs of holidaymakers in mind. Well laid out and thoroughly well-equipped (including picnic things and a sensible sized fridge/freezer), it really is a home from home. We particularly appreciated the provision of a travel cot, high chair and bath seat for the baby as well as a step and potty for the toddler. The washing machine was a welcome addition too. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and (given the weather in Wales), the collection of DVDs and board games would make even wet days bearable - though we were lucky enough not to have any. The layout of the house means that there is ample space for families, but at the same time it is cosy enough for couples.

The property is centrally located in the upper town in Fishguard with easy access to the beautiful cliff walk close by, and the comprehensive file of information provided in the property described local facilities like chemists and supermarkets as well as asking visitors to include their own recommendations which we found really useful. Jenny personally recommended local restaurants which were excellent when we tried them (Bar 5 for tapas and the Globe for a HUGE Sunday lunch). Local beaches which we particularly liked are Newgale and Broad Haven, while Newport Sands is good for people with access issues as you can drive onto the beach. Foodies should hop down the coast to St David's for delicious seafood and ice cream (we ate at the The Bishop and had ice cream from the Maison Chocolat after) and there is great fish and chips at Something's Cooking in nearby Letterston. Folly Farm was a good family day out.

The booking process was straightforward, the communication from the owners was both friendly and timely and the property was spotlessly clean when we arrived. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a holiday in the area - it's excellent value for money, and makes a great base for people wishing to explore this gorgeous area both for short or long breaks. I hope to return.

“Fabulous property in an excellent location!”

Jenny and Neil have created a perfect 'home' in which to stay on the Pembrokeshire coast! The property is wonderful: the furniture and décor create a bright, cosy feel, as well as being modern and tasteful; all that one might need (and more!) is in the cupboards and drawers, and is of excellent quality; the location is ideal for exploring the coast and inland area and this pretty, and in places stunning, part of Wales. Throughout, Jenny made the booking process simple, efficient and friendly, so we were not surprised that everything worked so seamlessly, from start to finish. We can highly recommend Brodog Court; we have no doubt other holiday makers will enjoy themselves as much as we did!
