This restaurant was superb full stop, not just "good for Barmouth" (I know that sounds horrendously patronising, but you know what I mean).
It's small (so book in advance) and has a lovely ambience.
I had the surf'n'turf which was a great twist on the typical assembly with king prawns, cockles, mussels and a lobster sauce. It turned out to be one of the best meals I've ever had, which I don't say lightly.
I had the duck pate to start which was lovely.
We ate quite late, but weren't rushed at all.
Quite simply, this is the best dining experience in Barmouth.
