Fabulous location. Good Seafood. Expensive cold drinks considering you have to ask for a glass (£1.50 for a can of Coke) and they are not cold.

We got there just after seven o'clock , just after last orders, but they let us in anyway. I was so glad they did. The smoked mackerel is fantastic.

We visited the Lobster Pot in June and for a real treat had the lobster Thermidor. It was amazing, nice chunks of very fresh lobster in a sauce groaning with butter, cream and Parmesan. Chef wouldn't tell me the recipe as she'd have had to shoot me sort of thing. Served with salad and jacket potato. It's not the smartest of places, only a few tables but clean and fresh. We bought fresh crabs and smoked mackerel pâté to take away. Well worth it and will go back again

On our way home from holiday, we decided to treat ourselves to a crab sandwich. It was a sunny day and we were able to eat outside, overlooking the harbour. On the plus side, the coffee was very good, the home made coleslaw delicious and the brown bread excellent. Unfortunately, the "crab" turned out to be some kind of brown slurry which, although it tasted vaguely of crab, just oozed out of the sandwich when you bit into it. Really unpleasant. I have to say that for £5.95 I expected white crab meat. I have had much better (white meat) crab sandwiches at a large retail outlet in the west midlands, for half the price. Very disappointed. Be aware also that it's cash or cheque only - they don't take cards, which, at the prices they charge, is a double whammy. Cannot recommend.

Four of us had lunch at the Lobster Pot.
Hubby had grilled lobster which he enjoyed.
The fish pie and chowder were also good
I had the paella. It tasted like a microwave rice dish
The seafood was well hidden under a grain of rice,
If you visit don't order the Paella.
