Nice to find a restaurant with a good range of vegetarian food, staff are very polite, and only too pleased to adjust the menu to your needs. Have a caravan at Tal y bont- and we regularly make the trip back into Barmouth, just to come here.Good also for dogs and their owners , as plenty of seating outside and bowls of water alwasy available .

Dined here in Late September. lovely experience. Food very good but small portions. Choice of Vegan wines which is excellent. Was like eating in the middle of a bazaar which was brilliant. Purchased a brilliant item of ethnic clothing at a good price which I probably would struggle to obtain near to where I live. Will definately go there again when next in Barmouth.

We found Ebeneezers as part of a shopping expedition. Decided to go back and sample the food. The ambience and service was great. Tapas for two with a large wine was £22 pounds and worth every penny.

Difficult to find good eating places in Barmouth - most of the rest of the places are mediocre and "samey" - but this is distinguished by virtue of its unusual setting in an old chapel building. This is the best feature of Ebeneezer's - a lovely conversion that brings new life to a building that would otherwise probably end up as yet another sad cheap junk shop (must be at least four of these already set up in old chapels in Barmouth!). So well done to all concerned.
But don't expect food to match - it was average at best in terms of quality and quantity. It was very quiet when we were in and the menu is wide-ranging across many cuisines. Hence got the impression that dishes were warmed up in the microwave rather than freshly prepared, which is a shame. Maybe better to concentrate on fewer dishes but freshly cooked?

This is actually an old chapel converted into a Himalayan shopping experience with a restaurant in the middle of it. The food ranges from Welsh to Thai, Jamaican, Indian, Moroccan. Friendly staff, decent prices - and more likely to find a free table here than in any of the permanently booked out and smaller eating places in Barmouth.
