A nice welcome from Adrian who helped us with our luggage, we were dissapointed to be stuck in a very small room in the back of the lodge with no view, the room itself was very small you could not swing a cat, the room was spotless and once we had put the heater on it was warm and cosy, shame we could not say that about the bathroom which was freezing and remained so as there was no heating available also the hot water took an age to come through and when it did it was only a drip which made it very difficult to have a decent shave also the mirror was at your side rather than facing you, very uncomfortable , the bed and bedding were first class and spotless. The breakfasts were fantastic, bread and toast fantastic and the service given by Robyn in a friendly and pleasant manner was just great, I just think that at £70 per night the room left much to be desired in size and location and therefor overpriced.
