Owner description: Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park is stunningly located on a scenic headland, overlooking the nature reserve of Cardigan Island, which is just 200 yards off-shore, so it can be clearly viewed from the park. Cardigan Island is home to thousands of nesting sea-birds, so access has to be restricted. A colony of Atlantic grey seals breed in the many caves below the farm park cliffs and can be seen virtually every day. Cardigan Bay's bottlenose dolphins are frequent visitors to the waters surrounding the park, particularly during calm weather, when they swim closer to the shore. They can be viewed clearly from the park. There are a variety of friendly farm animals for visitors to view and feed, including pigs, sheep, goats, rare breed cattle, ponies, chickens, and Dilwyn the donkey. There is also Llinos the Llama and Bruce the Emu from far-off lands. The Visitor Centre features a lovely cafe serving meals and drinks, with a focus on Welsh-sourced ingredients, which can be enjoyed either indoors or on the large patio to make the most of the glorious scenery. There is an out-door adventure playground and sand-pit for children to enjoy as well as some indoor games, and a well-stocked gift shop. Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park is open daily from 1st April 2017 until the 4th November 2017.

Enjoyed the coastal walk to the furthermost tip opposite Cardigan Island to go see the seals. The actual farm park is well-suited for younger children and has extensive play areas too, indoors and outdoors. Coffee shop and gift shop also on site.

A great place if the family have a real love of animals. Food can be purchased for the children to feed some of the animals. Wildlife was lovely yo see and a walk along the cliffs was great with a sighting of seals. A nice cafe which was light and clean. Play area and the usual gift shop which was not too inspiring. Outside play area and seating. We had a good few hours and was not a fortune. We didn't find all the animal though!!!!

We went here for a family day out because it was local to us too. After reading the brochure and seeing all the different things and the promise of an exciting day out we were looking forward to it! The farm it self is easily sign posted and the parking was good but the staff weren't very welcoming. The prices were reasonable to get in and the cafe for food was nice especially the view. The animals and the farm itself were not what we expected, the paths were unlevel and there was a long walk to see the seal viewing point luckily the weather was nice but there is no guarantee of seeing a seal! If you can't walk far or use a wheelchair then I wouldn't recommend it. The animals were okay but there isn't no signs anywhere to tell you what or who they are, the barb wire fence wasn't safe either! We did enjoy it but it wasn't what we thought!

Me and my family love it so much been here 4 times.Great walk through the farm with lots of friendly animals you can feed ( though the Emu creeps me out a bit!). Lots of wildlife on the cliffs too; seen Bottlenose dolphins twice, (awesome!) seals on all four visits, plenty of seabirds and once a Peregrine Falcon. The staff are so friendly and they have tons of board games lying around for the kids. Reasonably priced.

Stayed here for the first time with my wife and kids. We camped on one of the plots with an electrical hook up. The campsite is really spacious so you don't feel like everybody is camping on top of each other. The shower/toilet facilities are top notch and really clean, and that is replicated throughout the farm. If their is one issue with this location it is that it is really exposed to the elements, as you would expect along the Welsh rugged costline. This i experienced on our 1st night as it really lashed it down and was very windy. However this is worth the risk as the view over the sea and surrounding cost is possibly the best ive seen in Wales.

The farm animals are a real draw for the kids, who can get up close and hand feed them. Also Seal can be seen from the cliffs at the bottom of the farm park. you can also get on a boat trip to see Bottlenose Dolphins.

We also found the owner really pleasent.

Do take all you need to camp here though, as i had a nightmare finding something as simple as camping gas in the town.
