Attraction details
Owner description: Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park is stunningly located on a scenic headland, overlooking the nature reserve of Cardigan Island, which is just 200 yards off-shore, so it can be clearly viewed from the park. Cardigan Island is home to thousands of nesting sea-birds, so access has to be restricted. A colony of Atlantic grey seals breed in the many caves below the farm park cliffs and can be seen virtually every day. Cardigan Bay's bottlenose dolphins are frequent visitors to the waters surrounding the park, particularly during calm weather, when they swim closer to the shore. They can be viewed clearly from the park. There are a variety of friendly farm animals for visitors to view and feed, including pigs, sheep, goats, rare breed cattle, ponies, chickens, and Dilwyn the donkey. There is also Llinos the Llama and Bruce the Emu from far-off lands. The Visitor Centre features a lovely cafe serving meals and drinks, with a focus on Welsh-sourced ingredients, which can be enjoyed either indoors or on the large patio to make the most of the glorious scenery. There is an out-door adventure playground and sand-pit for children to enjoy as well as some indoor games, and a well-stocked gift shop. Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park is open daily from 1st April 2017 until the 4th November 2017.

Family friendly Camp Site with wonderful views and you will be really unlucky not to spot a seal checking you out.

“Camping at Cardigan Island”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

We had a brilliant few days camping here, so good that we came back a few days later in our trip for one more night. Very clean and tidy with great showers and toilet facilities and a stunning view out to sea. At night it was dark enough to spot a few satellites passing over and the ground was flat enough to sleep comfortably in our little tent. The site was peaceful and very well maintained and the owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful.

We could go into the farm for free anytime and see the animals all of which were very hospitable and easy to chat to. In short, I would definitely recommend camping here and will hopefully drop by again in the future.

“Peaceful and lovely views”
Reviewed July 23, 2013

It's a lovely, clean and friendly camping site.the views are beautiful and it's a perfect place to sit back relax and watch the sun set.

We had our nephews join us during our stay and they loved it (park, indoor activities and the animals).

At the cafe the food was lovely and the staff where very pleasant and would do anything for you.

I would definitely come and stay again.

“Wonderful setting and gteat for families”
Reviewed July 23, 2013

Visited here whilst on holiday. So cheap and good value for money. There are great and safe walks along the cliff tops which was rewarded by the sight of several seals ( best not to take the buggy though) and the children's play area is fantastic with a good inside bit if it rains. Staff very friendly and let us stay on in the park after official closing time. Highly recommended.

PS..Clifftop walks are safe for toddlers but they must be supervised at all times and any decent parent should know this. The park does not need to introduce anymore safety there are plenty of warnings!!!

“Feed the animals”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

we stumbled on this place by accident and although it looks like a place just for kids at first, it really wasn.t, We walked around the path and saw all the animals normally seen in a zoo. You also got the chance to feed them, The feed is bought from the shop and is pretty cheap for what you get, There is also good facilities for hand washing along the route. Great place for spotting seals at the right time of the year. Perfect for a picnic.
