we had breakfast here while staying in Cardigan. Despite being busy the owner actually went out and bought me a jar of Marmite when I asked for it with my toast! This kindness deserves a mention!

visited Priory Cafe last weekend and sat in the restaurant.. can honestly say that the food is outstanding, great atmosphere and a great family feel on the premises. Was starving when we went in and wowwweee what a portion of food we had.. HUGE! i ordered a sirloin steak with extra garlic sauce and it was stunning, my steak cooked perfectly! have already booked to go for a friends birthday... top food! top service!

We visited on a Sunday when Cardigan seemed to be closed!
We had little choice of places to eat but this was full which is a good sign. However, the staff seemed stressed and not friendly and the tables were full of half eaten food and there were no clean tables so we gave it a miss.

We've eaten here many times & always enjoyed a good meal. Downstairs is a café & upstairs a restaurant. It's not 'fine dining' - thank goodness, you get a large portion of tasty food. The roast dinners come with the usual trimmings & several fresh vegetables. The steak & ale pie is a proper pie - not a stew with a hat on.

Had a lunchtime meal here while visiting Cardigan.

The food was tasty and came in a decent sized portion.

Found the staff to be welcoming and friendly.

Enjoyed our visit.
