We stayed in the camp-shacks for two nights for a wedding. The weather was amazing (for late May), meaning the venue was stunning.
The shacks sleep 8, and it didn't feel too cramped with 8 adults. Ours had electricity, but the other 2 didn't (so be sure to ask for camp-shack 1 when you book). We visited friends in the Domes, which were amazing (but expensive).
The vibe is very laid back, and relaxing. Simply perfect for a wedding.
The only drawbacks were limited sign at the entrance, so we were left unsure of what to do (there are trollies to get your bags, so you don't have to lug them to your tent like we did). The young people that work there are super helpful, but there were some things that were missed (e.g we weren't given a map, others were, the tour didn't point out where the toilets were etc). For that reason I have given Fforest 4 stars.
The little candle light pub is lovely, and the breakfast was good (granola, toast, fruit and boiled eggs). Overall a wonderful experience. Just make sure you pack a torch and a warm sleeping bag.
