Stayed here for 3 nights in August, with my husband and daughter. It’s a great base for Cardigan and the surrounding countryside and of course, stunning views if you have a room at the front. The staff were helpful and the food was good (although breakfast toast let the side down a bit). A word of caution – don’t use room 7 or 8 unless you live above a chip shop and like the constant aroma of deep-fat frying. We were put in there for the first night and although there was no problem with moving us for the second night, no guests should really be given those rooms. Perhaps the owners manage this on a 'one night only' basis? The second room was quite small and had mould growing on the walls, but the third room was stunning. If they were all of this standard, it would be an excellent hotel.
