“Outstanding Cottage and location.”
Reviewed May 12, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Cluer Cottage, Isle of Harris. We stayed at Cluer Cottage over Easter with friends and it was a truly stunning base. The Cottage is so private and in a unique location at the end of a long track. After a lengthy journey from Cumbria we were so thrilled to walk through the door to such a homely and well equipped Cottage with amazing views. The decor is beautiful and the fires were set ready to light. The kitchen was so well stocked it was just like home!
A truly amazing weeks stay and we will be returning in the very near future.
We will not go past this stunning Cottage as it ticked every single box and more.

“peaceful, beautiful and very quiet.”
Reviewed August 29, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

the property is well kept, has beautiful views and has no neighbours, it has an internet connection although the previous visitors had used almost the entire allowance and it stopped after half the first day which was good as it meant the kids did not spend the holidays looking at their i pads, although may be seen by some as inconsiderate to any following guests. the only negative was the Scottish midge which were quite annoying.

I'm glad you enjoyed The quiet location and views from Cluer. Sorry about the Internet. If you had phoned me I could have purchased more. The Internet provider normally alerts me when it cuts out. It is a problem as they do not provide an unlimited data usage package.
Midgies!!!!! Bad luck. Sea breezes normally keep them at bay

“Lovely house, great location”

The ultimate Hebridean cottage: the sea right in front of the house, otters, seals and dolphins to be seen from the terrace. The house is very comfortable, lovely kitchen and plenty of space.

This welcoming cottage lives on the edge of the sea on one of Scotland's most attractive islands. It is well equipped, hospitable, comfortable and beautifully sited. The approach road is a bit rough and one needs to watch out for wandering sheep, but once there, it is a lovely house in a glorious location, though only 20 minutes from the ferry at Tarbert.

Glad you loved the location and were comfortable in the cottage. The sheep are around the house at lambing time. We have been working on improving the track and the garden area. We hope you will return at some point. Many thanks. Fiona

“Superb Location, Great Facilities”

Stayed for a week in October and you could not ask for more from a holiday home. Very comfortable and clean. The Kitchen/Sitting room is very well equipped with everything you could need. The Lounge is very comfortable and cosy with the fire lit, perfect to settle down to read a book or watch TV in the evening.

The view from the terrace at the front of the house is magnificent looking south down The Minch with the Uists on your right and Skye to your left. The weather was lovely and we even had the change to have a BBQ!

This is a perfect location to just chill or explore the Outer Hebridies with lovely beaches on the island.
