“Over the sea to St.Kilda”
Reviewed August 21, 2012

A trip by boat with Seaharris to St.Kilda 'the edge of the world' was a privilege and an unforgettable experience, the trip in May 2012 was made in glorious sunshine throughout the day. The high sea stacks covered with thousands of seabirds the steep hills and the blue sea was spectacluar. The seamanship and skill shown by skipper Seumus and crewman John was first class. A trip not for the faint hearted but it must be the best boat trip in the British Isles. Thanks to all at Seaharris

“An amazing adventure!”
Reviewed July 17, 2012

This trip was worth every penny! An epic journey there and back onboard the enchanted isle. Seamus guided us through rough seas and John was there looking after everyone and supplying ginger cake and tea. A once in a life time trip to an amazing place! The trip there and back puts it into perspective how cut off the St.Kildan people were from normal civilisation. John gave us the history and stories of bravery on leaving Hirta and exploring Boreray and surrounding stacs. A photographers dream and somewhere I will never, ever forget! Thanks to Seamus and John for a superb trip and getting us there and back safely!

“St Kilda in the sun”
Reviewed July 7, 2012

A trip to remember. Well looked after by Seumas and John. A visit for hill-walkers, bird watchers and (like me) people with an interest in Hirta's history. Hirta is amazing and the sail round Boreray and the Stacs is the perfect finale.
Take this trip with Sea Harris and you will get a day that you won't forget.

“An epic day”
Reviewed June 25, 2012

We were lucky and were booked on the only day out of the four we spent in the Hebrides when the weather was good enough to make the trip. The "Enchanted Isle" is built for the job and the crew know how to use her.

Been trying severla yeras to get to St kilda but nothing quite prepared me for this trip .I hioped it would be dramatic reality was much much more .The 3 hour trip out was exhiliaritng to say the least .To land there a dream fulfilled it so much grander than you can imagine even the photographs in books don't do it justice .On tjhe return we took a trip around the Stacs .Seaumus's seamanship to the fore weaving in and out of these dramatic stacs .John providing a great commentary as well as the tea and home made ginger cake .There is something very very special about this trip ..miss it at your peril ...you'll be forever wishing you had gone Graham Hodgson gs.hodgson@virgin.net
