Just home and want to come back. Lodge was perfect and we loved the woodland walks next to us and seeing the horses every day. The lodge next to us put the football goals at their lodge so we couldn't use them which was a shame but our kids made their own fun and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. So much to do in the area we will be back for sure. I'm so sad waking up and looking out of our window and not seeing horses

I can only endorse those who have previously reviewed these lodges. The lodges themselves were extremely clean, luxurious and very comfortable and located in an idyllic setting. The kitchen has everything you could ever want in it and logs, matches and newspaper is provided for the log fire.....you only have to provide firelighters and kindling!

The lodges are very warm and we had the log fire on only once and that was only because we wanted to use it, not because it was too cold!

Ailsa who runs the site is exceptional, although I did not meet her she replies quickly to emails, went out of her way to return a missing item after we left iin the lodge and she has put all the information your could ever require for your stay in the kitchen (check in/out procedure, walks, tourist info, including her contact details if you should require them).

Footballs and a set of goals are provided free of charge which is a very nice touch!

Overall, if you cannot relax here, you are in trouble! Excellent accommodation, with fantastic views and Ailsa is the perfect site manager.

Room Tip: No tips for a "good" room as all rooms are excellent!!

Comfortable, luxurious and very clean. Everything you need is provided for you. A beautiful setting and 3 lovely horses to watch whilst taking in the fresh air. Even though you don't see the owners you feel very welcome. Lovely log fire I but you do not need it as the lodge is very warm. We stayed in the wildcat lodge and it would be perfect if you have children as there is a little area for them to pay in. Be prepared to travel to see the aughts of Scotland. Recommend the Cairngorms and go up in the mountains by train absolutely breathtaking.

Most definitely will return

I had the fortune of staying at the Wildcat lodge, one of the contemporary lodges available through Big Sky and I say with no hesitation it was a fantastic property with everything you could want and so comfortable that it felt great to come home to after a day exploring. Heavy snow kepts us indoors for a whole day but it was no problems as you just felt content and everything you needed was there. Nearby of the Muir of Ord with all the shops you could need including an amazing butchers so we could enjoy a winter barbecue on the verandah!

The owners are very hands off so you don't feel crowded but if you have a problem or need info they are close by and very happy to help.

Any gripe, well apart from there being no cafetiere, no
