“Stunning!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2012

Absolutly breathtaking, scary going over the little suspension bridge. Like something out of an Indania Jones film! The viewpoint that lets you walk a few feet out over the gorge is impressive too. The walk is not too long and the path is newly laid and easy to navigate. There are parts I would have prefered t have had a fence next to me as I was walking along the path but that was only because I had my son with me. There is a rest spot halfway along the path with a large bench made out of a dead tree and the views over the mountains towards the nearby loch are stunning.

“Well worth a visit if you're passing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2012

Pity about the changed access - but understandable given main road. Very dramatic and picturesque especially if you're lucky enough to be there in the sunshine AND rain and catch a rainbow and a bit of romance if you get the place all to yourself!

“Stunning especially when in full spate”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 20, 2011

I've visited this waterfall and gorge many times over the years but this was the first time I have seen it running so full and fast. If you are passing, don't go by without stopping and it's also well worth a special trip. It is stunning even in drier weather

The entrance and access have moved since I last visited, now coming in on the opposite side of the gorge. The new path is a vast improvement on the earlier ones. It was very quiet when we visited probably due to the wet and windy weather conditions. This was ideal for us as my husband is terrified of heights and he was able to rush over the bridge on his own holding on easily. WARNING: it does sway side to side with only one person on it, so that is another good reason for not allowing too many people on it at once.
After the bridge you can walk to a viewing platform which gives the best views for photographs. This platform is not for the feint hearted, as you can see through it to the gorge below!

The car park machines ask for donations for parking and there are also leaflets available by slot machine. A refreshment wagon was parked on the site but was not open when we visited in mid September
