Spectacular walk and very informative on geological history. Clever use of the local geology to tell the story of the Earth's history

Well, I love rocks so this was a delight. Well explained visitor information so you can get the most out of seeing the Moine Thrust. Well marked trails with good paths to have a look around and enjoy the rocks and the views. However, if geology leaves you cold, you could give it a miss! The main visitor hut area seemed accessible for buggies or wheelchairs, but the paths onward need more mobility.

Really interesting geological tour of the stunning surrounds - and a lovely walk too. Pretty high and steep, and a little on the breezy side but worth it for the views!

Very informative and interesting. Spectacular views. Cannot remember if there was a cafe but think not and could do with one. Minor gripe really
as this hardly main reason to visit. Looking forward to when my grandchildren will appreciate a visit.

This is one of the spots which gave the earliest geolgists clues about the true age of the Earth. But the arts-and-poetry nonsense around the visitors' centre are an insult to the story being told; this is the Earth telling its own story. If you're not inspired by the oldest story in the world, don't defile it with tree-hugger sculptures and info-boards aimed at bored 7 year olds (or their parents). Treat visitors with respect! Part of the NW's Geopark - which is worth a tour.
