“Above Excellent B & B”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

Don't go past this B&B if you are in the area. It is a short drive out of town high on the side of a hill with amazing views of the Loch and countryside. We had a huge corner room with our own dressing room and en suite. Richard and Val together with Jeeves, their lovely dog, are excellent hosts. Breakfast is cooked to order each morning and nothing is too much trouble for this great couple. The room was excellent - we thoroughly enjoyed our two nights there. DON'T miss it.

Room Tip: downstairs corner room has wonderful views

Warn cosy and beautifully equipped B&B, we even had our own dressing room. Cycle parking available, beautiful views over the loch as quite high up. Only one draw back is that it is more than a mile out of town, leave on the main road going south, then take a left at the B&B sign, then a long way down a lane. Local taxi firm took us into town for our meal.

Room Tip: just book this B&B for the best rooms

We stayed here for two nights. It is one of the best guest houses we have ever been to. The rooms are very modern with sky t.v and the views are the best ever. Val and Richard are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is absolutely perfect one of the best we've ever had.

We stayed here during a car journey through Scotland. It is amazing - don't miss it if you are coming this way. It is a mile out of the town on the side of a hill with wonderful views over the Loch. We had a double corner room with a separate dressing room and separate ensuite. The breakfast was lovely - all cooked fresh to order. Richard and Val are wonderful hosts and the whole place is excellent.

Room Tip: Corner double room has wonderful views

We stayed here for 2 nights and this was without doubt the best B & B that we stayed in during our 8 day tour of Western Scotland. Our room was very clean, well-appointed with a balcony and superb view. The owners were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent. I cannot recommend Tamarin highly enough, but we will definitely return if we go to Ullapool again.
