We came here to check out the sunset and the planes landing/taking off, and on that point, the place delivered. The setup is nice, the views are amazing, and contrary to a lot of reviews, the service actually wasn't too bad. But ultimately what failed us was the food. We ordered a tuna tartare and a guacamole plate. The guacamole was OK, kind of old avocadoes, but not surprising. But the tuna tartare was one of the worst I've ever had. It was definitely frozen before and the texture was like chewing gum and it was flavorless. To add insult to injury, the prices are ridiculously high (even for someone from San Francisco) that the quality was just nowhere close to matching.
To be fair, the manager came by and we gave him the feedback and he honestly was concerned and asked a lot of good questions. He even comped us 2 drinks to apologize for the incident, so kudos to good service and a good manager.
Ultimately, I won't ever go back again for food. Next time I'll probably just go for the view and some drinks.
