My girl and I had the couples hot stone massage. She then had the reflexology and I had the facial. Overall the treatments themselves were very good but what was lacking is that personal service that you get with a truly great spa experience.
Let me be more specific. We arrived early, as suggested, so we could use the Oasis Lounge and enjoy the amenities that go along with it. We were not given a tour of the facility nor did we receive any instruction on how to use any of the spa's. We were just directed to the lounge. There was a small table with ice water and tea but no one actually offered us any, before, in-between or after our therapies. We were not instructed on how to use the lockers, where the showers, or steam and sauna were. There was a basket of slippers in the locker rooms but you could not tell if they were clean or if it was where you were supposed to leave them after use.
I know some this may seem a bit trivial but having visited a number of spa's I know what really constitutes a great experience. It's that personal touch, which was lacking here. It's not as if you are paying bargain prices. No matter what the price, a great experience is a great experience.
