My wife, son, daughter in law and grandson had dinner at the above hotel to celebrate my daughter in laws birthday. As per usual service was excellent and we were all made most welcome. All meals were very good and we were provided with plenty of vegatables. Once again Kenny exceeded himself with his treatment of my grandson.

Went to Creebridge House Hotel, Minnigaff for lunch, (we) my wife and myself, were the only customers in the bar. The room had a very warm and welcoming feel to it and the log fire burning cheerfully added with the relaxing feel to the place.

The barman, a very cheerful and hospitable gentleman was soon making us feel at home. He very efficiently and professionally had us seated and our orders taken.

My wife elected to have the “Flat Iron Rump Steak - medium cooked” and I favoured the Sirloin Steak - medium to rare, both with Bonnie Prince Charlie Sauce, onion rings, tomato, mushrooms and chips.

My steak was cooked to perfection, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Unfortunately my wife’s experience was not so positive, her steak was a bit tough and she did not enjoy her steak as much as I did. Fortunately the steaks were of a decent size and I shared some of mine steak with her, which she did enjoy.

On the whole we did enjoy our visit, the décor, the burning wood stove, the genial barman and to a degree the meal combined to give us a lovely relaxing lunchtime.

We have just had a wonderful week end away staying at the Creebridge House Hotel along with our Labrador Holly. While the weather left a lot to be desired the same cannot be said about the Hotel. We were all made most welcome with Doggy treats for Holly. The staff were attentive and friendly and the food you could not fault.

Would definitely recommend this to anyone thinking of going on holiday with a four legged friend.

This was a party night in December and it was well done, the food was good and other was entertainment after, would definitely go again as it was all done very professionally. Lots of different groups handled well and lots of smiling faces too. The portion size of the food was pretty large for a party night, I could have gone to bed after it ha ha. They also offered a deal to stay over on b&b basis and it was a good deal, I couldn't take it up on this occasion but would consider it another time as the place is lovely.

We stayed at this hotel between Christmas and New Year in 2013. The hotel itself is great, clean and comfortable rooms. The location is good too as you can walk into Newton Stewart easily.

What makes this place stand out are two things; the quality of the food and the staff. We had breakfast each morning and ate there two evenings and every meal was amazing, local fresh ingredients cooked beautifully. And the staff at the hotel are so welcoming.

The Galloway Forrest Reserve is a 10 minute drive away and was brilliant, a range of walks are signposted from the car park. There is a brand new centre with a cafe, toilets and information on the park & facilities. We even came back a second day to hire mountain bikes, like with the walks the routes are clearly marked and the biking was so much fun!

We would definitely return.
