We stayed here for 6 nights and didn't want to leave. We couldn't fault it in any way. The lodge had a beautiful character, rooms nicely decorated with a brilliant power shower! The breakfast was the best we have ever had (it was so nice to have a variety of fresh fruit each morning) with soothing scottish music in the background which really set the scene to each day. The lodge is very central for visiting local attractions and visiting the isles. Every evening the highlight would be sitting in front of the lovely log fire and trying some of the wide range of whiskeys on offer. The proprietors were so helpful and friendly and gave a true Scottish welcome. Can't wait to go back there again.

Was lucky enough to end up here bychance after two days exertions on the Scotland coast to coast 'ratrace'.

A beautiful building with traditional trappings is further enhanced by the kindness and generosity of the proprietors. The open fire in the bar area was a great place to finish the day and food & service at breakfast was first class. The room was spacious & very comfortable.

The owners couldn't have done more to accommodate us. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a warm, friendly hotel in the Fort William area

Room Tip: Book early

We stayed for only one night, would have liked longer.
Location very good for Glencoe and Fort William.
Directly on main road, but double glazing worked well - no noise problems.
We got upgraded to a large suite. Room and bathroom recently renovated and immaculate.
Breakfast more than adequate. Only problem might be that in the evening you have to go out for a meal, but there is a very good selection of whiskies waiting for your return.

If I had a complaint about Creag Mhor, it'd be that they don't do dinner; and I'd only complain about it because the breakfast was so good! Nice coffee, and lovely local produce. The views from the hotel are stunning, the room was spacious and the bed comfy. A big shower cubicle with a powerful shower. The welcome was warm and informal - we really felt welcomed, and later - when we returned from dinner - we had a drink in the whisky bar (you won't find a better-stocked one!); we had a lovely chat with the proprietors, who were open and friendly.

On the dinner front: we asked what was good in the area, and were directed to a fantastic seafood restaurant only ten minutes away.

A delightful and warming experience that set us off on a great start to a lovely weekend away.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the rooms with a loch view!

My husband & I decided the night before to have a few days away in the Highlands & did a little research before deciding to book at Creag Mhor Lodge. We couldn't have chosen anywhere better! Creag Mhor Lodge is family owned and a wonderful place to stay. Unlike the previous comments we found quite the opposite and are happy to rate everything as excellent! We did notice traffic noise but it's to be expected if you choose somewhere that is next to a road. However, like anywhere where there are unfamiliar sounds we soon got used to it and managed to get back to sleep. Along with the lovely welcome, ongoing conversations, the wonderful friendly bar where we met many people from all over the world, even had connections with a French couple and a young Australian couple too. It's a very small world as they say. Oh that breakfast too - wow! It kept us going all day.Thank you one and all for everything. Hopefully we'll be able to return.

Perfect location as it's a few miles outside Fort William in very peaceful and tranquil setting. Ideal for exploring the areas surrounding Fort William, Glencoe and Oban.

Beautiful Manor house with fantastic sights overlooking Loch Linnhe and mountains. Living room and corridors ooze colonial atmosphere. Excellent bar with a staggering choice of Single Malt Whiskeys. Friendly service and good spread for breakfast.

Rooms are plush, well maintained and upto date. Would strongly recommend splashing out on a suite - with its own lounge and large bathroom - well worth the price!

One of the best places I have stayed in Scotland!!!

Room Tip: Go for a Suite - more space and beautiful views over the loch!

We spent three nights. A lovely warm and friendly family, and nothing seemed to be a trouble. The breakfast was able to be adapted to vegan with no fuss or bother. The house and rooms complement each other and fit in wonderfully, with views you could look at all day.
