“THE PLACE TO GO”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 3, 2013

This cafe is excellent. Although there is a menu on the table, you can have any combination of food on it, just ask and the fantastic staff will do it. It's a lovely place to sit with great views and the outside tables are great if you have dogs. The staff are brilliant, very helpfull and pleasant. The food is excellent but may take a little longer to come than some places, this is because it is obviously freshly cooked and nothing is heated up but who cares when you're in a nice place with nice people. I'll be back

Thanks for taking the time to review your visit and for the lovely comments - we do say we don't serve fast food, but we serve fresh food as fast as we can :)
It can be a challenge for a small kitchen to prepare any request but we try and offer alternatives where we can!
Edinburgh isn't too far away so hopefully we'll see you back in Glencoe in the not too distant future.
Thanks again.

“Lovely little cafe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2013

A sweet little cafe in the centre of Glencoe village. They serve a good range of teas and coffees, aswell as alcoholic beverages. Cakes were also available, and I noticed some vegetarian choices on the menu, which was great to see! Friendly service, and a clean and pleasant atmosphere. Recommend a visit.

“THE best place to eat in Glencoe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 25, 2013 via mobile

Where do you start ? This unassuming little place is a hidden (not do much now) gem!
The food is incredibly good - comparable with any top restaurants anywhere. To get this quality in the highlands after ( or before) a long walk is all you can really ask for.
Go for the specials - main course and desserts.

The icing on the cake - if it's possible, the service and the team are even better!

5 stars all the way.

“A Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 23, 2013

We were driving from Plockton to Edinburgh in the one day and had stopped at Fort William for something to eat. Hopeless trying to find something so moved on. Coming into Glencoe Village I spotted this cafe, so on the way back from the MacDonald Memorial we stopped. And so glad we did.
Simple fresh food - my ham and mustard toasted sandwich came with a small salad and crisps - great service and good coffee. Excellent cafe in a very very small village.
