“Hope to stay again”
Reviewed May 21, 2013

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches such as bottles of water, wine glasses and a corkscrew. David and Simone are kind hosts and pay great attention to every detail. The breakfast was fantastic: lots of choice and home-grown, home cooked fruit, jams and bread. David was great with the children! Really hoping to have the pleasure of staying with this lovely creative couple again.

If you like quietness, art and good conversation then this is the place! I think we had one of the best English breakfasts ever! David and Simone were perfect hosts. My friend even has a tangible memory, she bought a piece from the pottery. So Lacock is a heavenly place so you'll need a heavenly B & B to make it complete!

Interesting, welcoming, clean, comfortable, excellent breakfast. A thoroughly pleasant stay. We would go again if back in the area. Our host was very charming and kept the children amused. He was a genial host and his wife produced the great food as well as having a great range of homemade jams and preserves on sale. Lovely quiet location in this delightful National Trust village.

The best part of staying at a B&B is meeting friendly and unique inn keepers. David and Simone are one of the best. We thoroughly enjoyed our short visit with them including fascinating discussions about history, pottery and local sites. The facilities are excellent and the breakfast unbeatable including excellent coffee. The location within the medieval village of Lacock is facinating. A visit to the Abbey is a very special historical treat that should not be missed. Don't miss the pottery exhibition at the B&B including David and Simone's work. Anne and Ted Seymour

This is my first review, one I am inspired to write having spent a lovely 4 days at Lacock Pottery B and B in Wiltshire. It was a terrific experience - clean, comfortable rooms, delcious home-cooked and fullsome breakfasts, extremely friendly people and a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail - spare toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste in the bathrooms, fresh bread at breakfast, gourmet sausages etc. And the people who run the place - David and Simone- made me feel very much at home. They couldn't do enough for me in fact. I whole-heartedly recommend it.
