Owner description: A harmonious blend of modern design and nature's inspiration. Nestling in the warm green of the West Sussex countryside, Ockenden Manor Spa has been designed to create a haven from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Purpose-built inside a 19th century walled garden, the contemporary airy structure contrasts and complements its neighbor, the Elizabethan Ockenden Manor, and shares it nine acres of parklands and gardens. Within our modern and sophisticated Spa are a host of superb luxury facilities where you can indulge in some well-earned pampering in one of the eight beautifully appointed treatment rooms, unwind in the heated indoor swimming pool with swim-through to the outdoor pool or workout in the air conditioned, state-of-the-art fitness suite and fitness studio.

The Ockenden Manor Spar Experience is: ‘Stepping Out of Life’ just for a moment in time - in this case a whole gorgeous day courtesy of a dear friend who had received an 'indulgence day' package as a birthday gift. As I sit here inspired to type this review because this should be shared, in a blissful, slightly spaced-out state of utter relaxation; the first opportunity to properly switch off and relax since Christmas…

We had the most amazing Spa Day at Ockenden Manor, Cuckfield - one of the prettiest, most interesting little villages in mid- Sussex. Set in beautiful, harmoniously designed gardens and grounds with glorious views over endless, rolling Sussex countryside right up to the South Downs, just 25 mins. From Brighton - infinity and beyond!

Hugely impressed by ‘State of the Art’ contemporary venue/overall harmonious design; the most professional therapists/ staff experienced in a very long time. They request your preferred menu for massage: light, medium, firm or very firm… Yes! It worked! The very sore muscles in my back have melted away and I am flexible again. Light but utterly delicious menus - absolutely compatible with being massaged within an inch of your life and the atmosphere is positively alive with ozone and other intoxicating aromas….

A perfect place for anyone who needs a rest from The Hamster Wheel of Life - particularly liked the Ila and Ren beauty products and bought the Ila Facial Serum. Counting the days until the next vist! There are lots of promotional packages available which make this heavenly venue very good value.

We spent about four hours at the spa on NYE 2012. I had the Kundalini back massage which is very relaxing, not painful - just very enjoyable. I also had the mini pedicure and manicure. The pool area is large with two pools - indoor and out (leading off eachother). There are plenty of loungers inside and out as well as a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi to use.

The service was excellent and I enjoyed every moment of it.

Beautiful contemporary spa with absolutely top-knotch range of facilities and truly blissful treatments. Lovely staff and therapists, stunning swim-through pool (indoor to outdoor), rainforest walk-through shower, steam room, sauna, free coffee/tea, relax areas. A real luxury experience in contemporary surroundings, not forgetting it is part of Ockenden manor with its Michelin starred restaurant, so do make sure you indulge yourself with food whilst you are there!

I spent a whole day at the Spa with my sister when I visited Cuckfield in August for a family visit. We attended yoga class, went swimming, relaxed in the outdoor whirlpool and had a full body massage. We also had a delicious lunch at the Spa. They served unlimited herbal teas, coffees etc. We found the premises very clean and there were plenty of towels and robes. The parking was good and there was plenty of space for everyone. They used excellent products. We found all the staff very helpful and friendly.

great! We are frequent (monthly) visitors and we are always received as if we are friends.. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the staff are attentive and helpful. The breakfasts do let them down a little..
