“Beautiful lodge with lovely views”
Reviewed June 20, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

The Larches is a delightful little lodge with all the things you need for a short stay, close to all amenities. Mark and Sara are a lovely couple who would do anything to help with your stay. I would highly recommend staying.

“The Larches is an ideal place to relax.”
Reviewed June 15, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

My partner and I have just returned from a week at The Larches. The holiday was everything we could have wished for . The log cabin was perfect and set in beautiful surroundings. There is so much to see and do in the surrounding area. The surrounding views beautiful and not too far away to spend a day at the sea. The owners Sara and Mark are really friendly and are always there should you need anything but do not intrude on your privacy.

“Perfect place for our wedding anniversary weekend”
Reviewed May 30, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

My husband and I stayed at The Larches over a long weekend for our 20th wedding anniversary. We have stayed before and knew that the combination of its beautiful, comfortable interior, its setting surrounded by stunning hills and the warm and helpful Sara, Mark and family would be just right. The trip this time involved visiting a couple of wonderful restaurants - the train station is a few minutes walk away and we ate ridiculously well in nearby Ludlow and Shrewsbury. We will be back again of course.

“Relaxing short break”
Reviewed May 28, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We have just returned from a very relaxing short break at 'The Larches', which was the perfect base for touring and walking in the Shropshire AONB. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very well equipped and was a lovely haven to return to at the end of each day. The owners have ensured that every need was catered for but also provided those extra special little touches that make a stay all the more enjoyable - fresh flowers and prosecco on arrival as well as a wealth of additional extras - mood lighting and external heating on the secluded decking area to name but two. The owner was there to greet us and gave us invaluable advice on places to visit and eat which was much appreciated. She was very welcoming and helpful. A lovely place which we would highly recommend and would certainly return to.

“Peaceful Haven in a walking paradise”
Reviewed May 11, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Super single room accommodation with everything we could ask for, beautiful hillside setting with trees all around and a very pretty garden. Nice decking area with table and chairs and a view to chill with an evening glass or two
Well equipped kitchen and lounge, comfy king size bed and a warm welcome from the owners.
So close to a host of excellent walks in amazing countryside.
We will be coming back!!!

“A wonderful place to stay!”
Reviewed May 8, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

My boyfriend and I have just got back from a 3 night stay at The Larches Norwegian Chalet and had a lovely time. The weather was great but that didn't matter because the cabin is so cosy you can keep warm and watch a film. There is plenty to do around Church Stretton and the surrounding area, as everything is about 30 minutes away by car. The owners are great and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be going back.

“The Larches ”
Reviewed May 3, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Although the cabin is at the end of Sara and Mark's beautiful garden, it is very private.

Log cabin cosy and nice. Facilities all great. Surrounded outside areas picturesque.

There is vast amount of all the local information on day trips out and restaurant recommendations, great food, excellent service, no complaints. There is a local co-op big enough to cater for all needed for an evening in.

Great sight seeing and walks.
Hawkstone Park follies was awesome, as was Carding Mill Valley.

Church Stretton definitely has the WOW factor.  Definitely recommend the Larches and Church Stretton as a place to visit.

Sara and Mark, great hostess' and made our break a wonderful memorable experience.
