The staff was really very friendly and nice
Hotel in the heart of Gairloch, clean and fair price.
Food was not the best but not even bad.

“friendly service but disappointing food and drink”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 23, 2012

This place should have everything going for it - great location on the foreshore and otters swimming in site of the dining room. Staff were pleasant and efficient, but food was mediocre at best (over 3 different dishes) and house wine barely drinkable.

“Sea Food Platter - Must Do!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 19, 2012

Visited for lunch as recommended whilste staying at Gairlock. Simply superb for fresh fish lovers.Reasonably priced for such quality with excellent service. Just wish it was in our home area and not so far away. Certainly nothing to compare with in our region

“lovely and welcoming”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2012

Great choice of food on the menu, and staff were very helpful and friendly. I had the salmon main course and the helpings were huge. , I never finished my main which is unusual for me, and I was disappointed as the desserts looked great. Prices were good for the portion size, and nice views from the resturaunt. Lovely seating area when you come in which is light and airy, and very welcoming

“Nice and cosy”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2012

We ate here for dinner one night while on holiday in Gairloch. It was a nice comfortable restaurant with very pleasant staff. The food was a bit 80s but very nice and just what we needed after a very long tiring day walking in the hills. Not a mindblowing meal but very pleasant.
