Just been to alnmouth for a weekend break and had a very pleasant stay at the saddle, spacious room, spotlessly clean and very homely, breakfast was excellent and we will definitely stay there again. Reasonably priced at £70 per night.

Room clean and reasonably comfortable but a bit dated - very steep steps down to very small en suite. Pretty good breakfast. Parking useful as in centre of village. Overall an average B and B of reasonable value.

Spent 4 nights here in this very welcoming B&B. Room comfortable and quiet even though it overlooked the front street and church (the church bells stop between 10pm and 7am). Great breakfast and plenty extras available if required ( wine, beer, juice) from a communal fridge. Our dog was even invited down to breakfast and got her own treats from the owners! Lovely little village, with great beach, shop and four dog friendly bars all serving a nice variety of food. The locals were very welcoming and accomodating too. Would definately stay here again. Just how a B&B should be!

Spent 1 night ,comfortable stay rooms could be updated a little but not too modern as that would spoil it .the steps in to the bathroom could be a bit challenging if you are unsteady on your feet .the doors to the room need fitting a bit better as it lets a good bit of light through .
The breakfast was fine ,fruit, cereal, cooked breakfast ,kippers there is something for everyone .
Would stay here again

Spent 2 nights on 6 -7 sept with a voucher deal .. 2 Nd time here and we were even given same room facing onto front street and church .. A very relaxing B and B with no frills but all the essentials you would need .. Breakfast superb and staff really nice .. Alnmouth is gorgeous and has some charming friendly pubs to chill in the evening .. The new Italian at hope and anchor was lovely and food splendid .. Can't wait to return to alnmouth
