“Brilliant Restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2014

We have been here for a number of meals now and not had a bad one yet.

The specials menu always has something good on it, and the main menu has enough variety on it to keep it interesting.

I would recommend this place to anyone, but make sure you book as it gets very busy.

“Bella!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2013

What a little gem - very nice surroundings, stripped back walls and bare brick and a proper wood fired pizza oven. Not an extensive menu but more than adequate range of food for our tastes, together with a nice selection of wines. Would I go back? Definitely.

“Terrible”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 5, 2013

I ate here with friends earlier last month and all I can say was the food, service and atmosphere was very disappointing. I have ate here on two occasions and both of those were terrible. Would not recommend this restaurant whatsoever.

“Early bird menu.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2013 via mobile

Just been for our dinner,as we're staying over the road at The Hallsteads.
we arrived just in time to get the last available table and were greeted by friendly staff who accomadated us without a booking,we were shown to a cosy table for two.
The menu is varied with pizza, pasta starters and meat dishes. We opted for a calzone and mushroom tagliatelle with sides of chunky chips and tomato and red onion.we didn't have to wait long for our freshly cooked meals, both delicious and good sized portions.
Overall I would recommend this little Italian, great service, good atmosphere and value for money.

“More topping please”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2013

Dined here on a friday evening happy hr and was impressed by the set-up. I had the risotto starter which was stunning (im returning for more) and the fella had the minestrone soup (huge). The warm ciabbatta before selecting from the menu was a nice touch.
We both opted for the pizza as a main, i had the steak and onion the fella had the anchovy, beautiful thin crisp base which is the only way a pizza should be in my book, however as a big italian fan i believe oregano should be used as it makes a pizza. The pizza lacked topping and was bland, the chilli i asked for barely flavoured the lips, however the waitress did grind pepper onto it for us.

Overall add more topping (no way near enough) to the pizza and please use more tomato and oregano and you have a faultless restaurant again in my opinion.
