Stayed in the B&B rooms during Staithes Festival. Great location, just at the top of the hill so really easy to get around. The room was a good size, as was the bathroom, and the beds were comfy. Just a slight negative - the room wasn't totally clean, with crumbs on the windowsill, bits of grit/dirt around the bin in the bathroom, and signs that someone had recently done some drilling around the loo roll holder and hadn't vacuumed up the plaster dust! Bedding seemed very clean though, and the tea/coffee/biscuits were plentiful.
For £55 per night room only, it was excellent value (hence the "very good" rating). There are several other B&B rooms, plus some cottages and a campsite, so there are quite a few cars to-ing and fro-ing - not a problem if you want to be out and about, but probably not the best place if you just want to sit around and get away from it all. Parking is on the grass between the buildings, on an "every man for himself" basis so you can't necessarily park near your room. Someone blocked us in, although it didn't cause us a problem. There's no signage about parking, which might help - it's not clear when you arrive what you should do - and encourage people to park sensibly. The signage to the whole complex could actually do with some improvement as the only signs we saw from the road were for Trig Point 49. Overall it was a great place to stay for our visit to the festival.
