The Priory guest house was superb, very friendly and welcoming. Warm. comfortable and clean. Sarah and Chris had put so much thought in to the final touches, fresh milk, cake and hot chocolate for our 5 year old who they were brilliant with, made him feel very welcome and couldnt do enough for him at breakfast. Myself, partner and son will hopefully be back soon.

Room Tip: We had green room great for a family

Very comfortable, warm and clean room with so many extra touches from cotton buds to cafetiere. Log fire in the guests' drawing room in the evening and also in the dining room at breakfast on a very frosty morning. The locally-sourced bacon, eggs and sausages were delicious. Thank you, Chris and Sarah - we'll be staying longer next time!

Stayed for 2 nights with our 2 children in the Green Room at the Priory in November 2012.

New owners Chris and Sarah made us feel most welcome, great breakfast, nice bottled water and biscuits in room with great choice of teas and coffee. Sarah even made a cake which had in the afternoon.

Also made use of the drawing room which is a nice touch when you want to sit on a sofa rather than in your room.

Great place, will return and Middleham and surrounding areas are beautiful.

We've stayed in the guest house and coachhouse on several occasions and had a fabulous time. Peaceful surroundings, comfortable beds and friendly obliging service from Anthony and Rachael. Children playing nearby adds to the family atmosphere and gives it that "away from work" feeling.
Whether its a fishing, walking, horseracing or simply relaxing holiday it is a brilliant base.
We'll definitely be back again and again.
