Our stay at Brackenborough - our second - was as good as the first. Our Saddle Room apartment was spacious and comprehensively equipped. No expense had been spared by Paul and Flora in the conversion to a home away from home of the original saddle room of the Hall. Many original features are incorporated into its present use, done carefullyand sympathetically and maintaining the ethos of the building. Our unit was two bedroom, and there is another like it, as well as a much larger space upstairs for larger groups.
Brackenborough is both a country house of great antiquity and a substantial working wheat and cattle farm. Children are well catered for and the ambience is of peaceful prosperity. The price really is exceptionally good for this level of accommodation. Paul and Flora are most attentive hosts - where else would you be offered punnets of berries hand picked by the owner? A real find for us; when in the area we will be using the services of Brackenborough whenever we can!
