Me and my girlfriend went for a meal on a Saturday evening and was not disappointed! Service was prompt, polite, friendly and made you feel very welcome. Alan who served is is a top bloke :) The food was an excellent standard and I would definitely visit again. Smiles all round :)

I had a meal tonight at the White Hart Hotel in Boston (Best Western) and I must say the gentleman at the bar, Alan was incredibly well mannered, professional and a proper old fashioned gent!

Nothing was too much to ask and he came back to my table a number of times just to check if I was doing alright during the meal. This might seem an obvious thing for dinner service however in this day and age it was refreshing to have such a pro serve you dinner.

I would recommend eating here any day and especially Alan's recommended dish of Pork joint! Lush!

My sister and her husband had their wedding reception at the White Hart on 5th October 2013. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The service provided was excellent, and the whole afternoon and evening was run with military precision.
The food was lovely, though the wine available was not brilliant but drinkable.
The efficiency and hospitality of all the staff made for a great afternoon and evening and I would recommend anyone to hold a function there.

Stayed for 1 night whilst visiting the area. Great value for money, large room (201) no view, looking into a roof area, but not a minus. Large comfy bed with a sofa in the room as well. Nice clean bathroom but could do with a hand rail and a towel rail near the bath. We ate in the restaurant, good food, great value for money. All the staff were extremely helpful especially Andy and Alex. Hotel is very centrally placed next to the river and opposite the river from the "stump" and the market place. Appreciated the email from the hotel with directions on how to navigate the one way system. Believe your sat nav. We would stay again

This is an old hotel which seems to have been a series of 'add ons' as they purchased more of the neighbouring buildings. We had the next to furthest away room on the first floor which was reached by a series of tortuous turns. We were slightly disappointed when we saw the room. It was described as superior, but we were not too impressed. The bathroom was really quite different. That really was superior. The room was comfortable enough, just not as large as we had expected. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. For all those who want to stay here and come by car, make sure that you have the post code of where the car park is situated for your sat-nav. From what I saw the Boston one way system is quite confusing.

Spent two nights here over a weekend, visiting area with friends. My single room was extremely comfortable, very well equipped. TV provided full range of Freeview TV and radio channels, which sadly is a rarity among hotels. A decent separate radio was also provided.
Shower had something of a mind of its own, but this a minor quibble. Breakfast provided a help-yourself buffet for fresh fruits, yoghurts, cereals etc but, again a rarity these days, hot items were cooked to order rather than being made well in advance and left to fester over warming trays. Good selection offered even if, sadly, there were no kippers. The Lincolnshire sausages are particularly to be recommended.
Dinner in restaurant was good, even if there was little crispy about the confit of crispy duck.
Good, though relatively short, wine list, decently priced. Fine range of beers in the bar, including a real ale -- Batemans -- on draught and some interesting bottled beers from craft brewers from various countries. Bar gets noisy on Friday and Saturday nights, but the nearby hotel reception area is peaceful, with comfortable chairs and tables.
Staff throughout were very friendly, welcoming and obliging. A request for directions to a local attraction produced an unsolicited phone call to make sure it would still be open by the time we got there. Impressive.
Building a little labyrinthine between reception and bedrooms, but all well signposted.
This is a nice, well-run place. I'd happily return.
.

Room Tip: Boston can be noisy at night, so best avoid rooms overlooking the river and main centre

My friend and I spent a very pleasant night here. Twin room was clean and duvets very 'snuggly' Staff were helpful and friendly and food in restaurant was excellent and very reasonably priced. Only down side was that there was no lift and there were a lot of stairs to reach our room on the second floor. Not for the faint hearted, I would recommend either travelling light or taking advantage of the offer of help to get your luggage upstairs.
