We were welcomed by two trainees on reception, and for trainees they were very welcoming and knowledgable! The room was very clean and me and my partner were very impressed however the meal from the brewers fayre next door wasn't upto the standard of the hotel.

Easy to book. Friendly staff on arrival. Clean room and bathroom - temperature control facility a great asset.. Very comfortable bed. Only very slight downside the WiFi wasn't working properly during our stay. Will definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable, timely and relaxing. Only a couple of hundred yards deviation from our route. Welcome was very friendly, parking very convenient and ground floor room appreciated. Relaxing dinner in nearby restaurant although slightly noisy near family seating. Perfect!

We stayed for one night to attend a family funeral the following day and although the reasons for the visit were unfortunate the stay at the Premier Inn was excellent in all aspects. Very welcoming and a very good nights sleep. Breakfast at the hotel was very good in particular.

I think premier inns are great. Big comfy bed, power shower ,all you need for a few nights stay. This one was the same. big telly on the wall as well. Only thing was that I could hear an annoying constant drone, like a fan in the distance, and in the morning in the room (37)that we were in at the end of the building I could hear the traffic going past, But I am being a bit picky. It made me laugh, as you walk down the corridors there are posters with "sssssh....you are in a quite zone" What with the drone, the traffic, and my mrs snoring , I felt like I was in a "war zone" when i was coming round in the morning!

Great service, welcomed by a member of staff who was very friendly. I stayed with my wife and two very young children so booked a familly room and a double for my parents who also stayed at the hotel.
Room was very clean and a cot was already made up for us on arrival, massive comfortable double bed and two single beds so plenty of options.
Massive flat screen TV and free view, not used so can't ccomment but looked good.
We booked in the pub over the road for evening meal and breakfast, both very good. 2 choices of breakfast, Buffet (all you can eat) for £8.25 or continental £5.25 I think. I went for the buffet, really good, plenty of choice and Costa coffee and tea, highly reccommended really.
My mum and Dad experienced someone knocking on their door on the 2nd night which woke them up, Premier Inn promise a good nights sleep or your money back, when they complained in the morning they were given a free breakfast but the room cost £39 so hardly your money back, it spoilt what was otherwise a very enjoyable stay

Okay, so it's not the Ritz. But it's clean, has everything you need, the beds are comfy and the staff are friendly.

The Brewer's Fayre restaurant opposite is exactly what you would expect from a Brewer's Fayre. It's not fine dining - everything comes with chips - but it does the job. When they are busy the breakfasts are buffet style, which can mean the food sitting on hot plates for a while before you get to it. But when there are fewer guests, they cook to order and it's much better. Fridays and Saturdays can be very hectic as the locals come to the pub for birthdays and the "all you can eat" fish and chip supper.

The only thing that is a little bit odd is that the price of the rooms varies enormously from day to day. Apart from that, there's no reason not to recommend it. It does exactly what it says on the tin.

Room Tip: The rooms on the ground floor near the entrance can suffer from people smoking outside. If you have...
