Despite the fact that the exterior is currently shrouded in scaffolding and most of the interior is cordoned off whilst the floor’s up, this was still a great visit. Seeing the work going on was very interesting and the signs and staff were very informative. We chatted for ages with the ‘Lego model lady’ who explained the project in infinite detail without suggesting to us that we needed to donate to the cause. The Lego Project is quite astounding and worth a visit just on its own!! The ceilings, windows and choir areas are still easily visible at the moment and in spite of the dust it still looked beautiful. This is a glorious, cathedral-like, parish church and I can’t wait to visit it again once the works are finished, even though I’m not a religious person.

Met some interesting carpenters and they said they would be able to help me replace some fine tracery to a Victorian harmonium. As one specialised in Victorian musical instruments.

We Love our visits to Boston, but especially St Bodolphs! We were here two years ago, so we wanted to see how far the Lego sculpture had come on!
If your in the area please go and see them, purchase a Lego brick for £1, and the money goes towards renovating this Beautiful church.
See you All soon! Special Thanks To Tom for his help! Great Chap!
