Fantastic place, lodges are first class especially with a hot tub. Meals in the cafe are excellent value and large portions.
Can't fault anything I will be returning and I would definitely recommend it

After several visits to Westwood Lakes I can safely give a full and accurate description of the place. To sum it up in one word would be "Heavenly" but that would be too simple, and would be letting the place down. The place as a whole is just astounding, the cabins are excellent and exceptionally clean and well maintained. I could easily live in one of these (if only) they have a clean hot tub that is always on and overlooks the fabulous scenic surroundings. The fishing lakes are just brilliant and the fishing is about as good as you can get, with a very well stocked fishing tackle shop to cater for all your needs.
There is a cafe on site that serves a fantastic breakfast as well as meals throughout the day with a good menu that will make your mouth water.
The staff are just so nice, they will bend over backwards to help in any way they can and will move mountains for your satisfaction.
I have been all over the world and never had such an enjoyable stay anywhere, it just makes you feel so relaxed and chilled out. Some of the cabins will be available for you to take your dogs too so no need for kennel fees.
In my opinion I would not give this place 5 stars, I would give it 10, take it from me you will not be disappointed if you visit Westwood Lakes, Take a look on their website, you will see from the pictures just how stunning it is.

Room Tip: Try the Skylark VIP lodges at the bottom of the lake, these can be a little bit quieter being away from the entrance.

Agree with all the other reviews, matches up to everything that's been said. This was our first time and we WILL be going back. I am sure there will soon be a 2 year waiting list as more people discover this little piece of heaven. Well done to Alan and Tracy for creating such a perfect holiday site, and still expanding!
I enjoyed the two matches I entered and me and the wife both caught plenty of fish ( as usual she caught more, a tale familiar to most fishermen) and we had some lovely big barbel and some big white koi carp.
