“Luxury lodge”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

We recently stayed here as a family. In the westwood 3 vip. The lodge was big and very homely. We also took our dog who also enjoyed being able to plod around the lakes and take herself off without us having to worry too much. The lodge had a hot tub which was amazing we spent alot of time in there and no matter how cold outside it was sooo warm & cosy in there. We stayed out till atleast 10pm & the neighbours would stay out later drinking wine & having a laugh just like we did. I would deffinetly recommend this place as we had a fantastic yet relaxing time here. The fishing wasnt great as my boyfriend & family hardly caught anything but the lake was definetly bug and clean enough. But as the lodge was so nice they didnt mind too much as they could come in and chill out fir the rest of the night. The price was brill for what we got. Deffinatly go to westwood lakes either for familys or groups of friends to relax :)

You don't need to be an angler to love to stay here, the complex is second to none, my
wife and myself have been lucky enough to have resided here on many breaks, and we still want
more! Every member of staff are very helpful, as all previous reviews echo, therefore, you will love it!!!!!

Room Tip: they are all good!

My partner and I stayed here the first week in October, when we arrived we took a stroll and was very very inpressed with the lay out and just how clean everywhere was.
Once we had booked in and got into our log cabin we was stuned by just how wonderful it was, we stayed in a Skylark VIP 1 which also had a hot tub which was great to get into even though it was chilly.
I can not praise Westwood to highly, we was that impressed that we have booked a week for next year at the end of May.
All the staff on site are friendly and will take the time to talk to you, I fully recommend this to anyone even if you do not fish.
The fishing was great too.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Westwood Lakes near Boston , we dont fish ourselves but chose the place because of the accommodation , which was even better than expected. The log cabins are superbly finished and furnished, lovely well appointed kitchen , dvd player shower room and a hot tub.Everything about the cabins and the site is immaculate and has a great restaurant onsite. The staff where great fun and nothing was too much trouble. We had a chilling weekend and will be visiting again......soon

We had one week at this fishing site in a VIP with a hot tub. The accommodation is so clean and well equipt with everything that you need. The staff are polite and helpfull, they help whenever they can and always have time to chat to everyone. We will recommend to anyone to go and have a fishing holiday with their families. Excellent value for money.

We have stayed 3 nights in a Westwood lakes VIP . (VIP means it has hot tub)at a cost of £600. We came and still had to pay day ticket although at a £2 subsidy. Wow . We then found out that all the lakes except 1 was matched up. It is a good venue and the fishing is so so. We have been before about 18months since and it is now plainly a money maker. The friendliness has gone although the site is very clean etc.
