“Excellent place to stay”
Reviewed December 12, 2016 for a stay in December 2016

Excellent place to stay and explore the Cotswolds. Everything as described by the owner and previous guests. Would certainly recommend and hoping to return there again, as it truly felt like home away from home.

“Good area to stay for tourist.”
Reviewed October 9, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Good area to stay for glouster/somerset tourist attractions, Nailsworth very nice little town.
A little disappointed with the apartment all that it would have needed was a better attention to its clean prior to our stay, lots of dust/cobwebs(skirting/bin lids/walls) for such a small apartment. Having stopped at many self catering rentals from large houses to bedsitter type apartments the ones that always stick in your memory are the ones that provide the extra special touches that all renters appreciate.. a little welcome gift, these range from local fudge/chocolate to the homemade cake/bottle of wine, usually a low cost to the owner but a big appreciation from the guests, possibly something the owners may consider for their other guests.

“Wonderful Place to Stay”
Reviewed September 25, 2016 for a stay in September 2016

From first enquiry to leaving, Jackie made everything simple, easy & a lovely experience for us. The Old Manse is a home from home, so clean & well equipped & met all our expectations & more. From the moment we walked in, we settled straight away ... wonderful hot shower, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, relaxing lving area with extras such as dvds, books, guides, candles, games, washing maching, ironing board & iron ... absolutely a gem of a place.

Excellent area for touring the Cotswolds & would recommend visiting Woodchester Mansion, Lower Slaughter, Bibury, Bourton on the Water, Burford, Castle Combe.

Thank you Jackie for a wonderful week away :)

“Felt like home”
Reviewed August 16, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Lovely hosts, comfy, charming apartment, great restaurants within walking distance. Good spot for seeing the Cotswolds and touring Bath. We loved it! After long days to Oxford, Blenheim, Bath, the Slaughters, it was great to "come home" to this very comfortable apartment. It had everything we needed. Anyone would love it!

“Excellent 'home from home' stay”
Reviewed May 9, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

My husband and I needed a local place to rent for a few days while our final house renovations took place. We had our two year old son with us and I'm quite heavily pregnant yet this flat had everything you could want or need. We had all our home comforts (washing machine, dishwasher etc.) and everything was spotless. Towels were provided and the bedding was of a good quality, the decor was calming and modern and the shower was really powerful (very important after living with a lot of dust)!

We really liked the private entrance and collection of the key, not having to meet an owner when you have no idea of your eta and look rather disheveled meant we could really relax into our surroundings.

As our stay came to an end I managed to lose the key (I blame baby brain). My first encounter with the owner came with me calling her on her holidays abroad asking for help! Jackie was extremely polite, calm and helpful. Her poor son ended up helping me look and provided us with a replacement and really was very kind about the whole situation, slightly helping to relieve some embarrassment on my part!

On a separate note this is one of my favourite villages locally and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to friends and family coming from near or far.

“Great Location and Accomodations”
Reviewed May 6, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We really enjoyed our time at the Manse. We used it as a base of operations for over a week and it was ideal. Convenient to the train in Stroud and close enough for day trips to Wells, Bath and of course the Cotswolds.
