Unusual accommodation in purpose built row of rooms overlooking the vineyard. Beautifully done with lovely bathroom. Stayed as part of a deal and had dinner plus bottle of bubbly in ice bucket on arrival. Meal was good but the wine was mostly their own and rather expensive. Did the wine tour which was interesting.

Room Tip: All the rooms overlooked the vineyard.

A bitter sweet experience. On arrival my wife had to wait 5 minutes for the lady behind the desk to finish talking to a member of staff and acknowledge our presence. We were then told that we needed to produce a voucher as our visit was bought as a gift online. She clearly had proof of our booking in front of her but insisted we provided this voucher. My wife had to make calls to her mother to get this done. This was all conducted in reception where we felt like a right couple of lemons. Why couldn't we be given the keys and asked to politely forward the voucher in the next hour or so?? We later found out from my mother-in-law that she had already returned the voucher to them by email when she initially paid.

The views from the room were beautiful and the complimentary cava was very welcoming. The room was a good size but the wallpaper was lifting off in several places and there were severe water stains on the table. A shame as any manager with a modicum of an eye for detail would sort it out with the minimum of expense.

The evening meal started well with a tasty starter but that's where the culinary bonhomie ended. We both ordered medium rare steak at £22 each. Both steaks were medium, under seasoned and tasteless. Vegetables were over-cooked. The potato dauphinoise were dry and bland. What we thought was a safe desert, a cheese board consisted of dry Inedible cheddar and double Gloucester. The stinking bishop and blue cheese were both good though. My wife told me not to complain about the cheese as we had already complained about the steaks; something I now regret. Needless to say no discount was forthcoming. So we paid £120 for a meal which was barely worth half that. The wine was very good though and service attentive.

The Three Choirs vineyard is very good at its primary business which is producing top quality wine. Their supplementary business does not have the same keen eye for detail unfortunately and left a bitter taste in the mouth for which the steak wasn't solely to blame.

Buyagift voucher used to visit this vineyard. Did the tour only but accomodation and restaurant also on site. Tour was very informative with good selection of wines to try. Tour took about an hour and a half, easy walking and lovely surroundings. Would visit again if in the area. Restaurant was very busy, only do full meals , we had travelled for 4 hours to get there but there was no facilities to have a light snack and tea or coffee, had to go to the garden centre just along the road as we were staying overnight in the area with evening meal and needed something to keep us going.

Spent a night here with a deal that included a bottle of bubbly and a wine tasting tour. Thanks to the sunny, warm weather we were able to sit out on the patio, drinking wine, while enjoying the view of the vineyard. The room was spacious with a big bathroom. Had a really good meal in the restaurant and an equally good breakfast. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic food, comfortable lodge, clear skies at night, lovely surroundings, helpful and welcoming staff! And I overcame my predisposition against English wine!

A great weekend break, on the wine tasting package. Wonderful opportunity to relax, and enjoy great food, carefully thought out and presented, whilst working our way through the wine list. And all despite windy, no rainy, no sunny......changeable English conditions.

The lodge was great, nestled in seclusion amongst the vines. It is a five minute walk up the hill to get to the main buildings but the fresh air was good after dinner!

We will be back at Three Choirs!

My husband and I along with brother and sis in law enjoyed a treat recently. The rooms certainly had the "WOW" factor and you could quite believe you were in Tuscany. Patio doors from our room opening onto the vineyards was just magical.

The wine tour conducted by the lovely Brad, entertained and informed us of the process and history of the vineyard. All the staff were so so friendly and professional, we all felt really special guests. We dined in the restaurant and the food, presentation and service were superb - another bonus. Nothing was too much trouble. This certainly will not be the last time we visit here.

Room Tip: Beautiful beds gave us a fantastic nights sleep.
