“Excellent Location & Warm Welcome”

The farm is a working sheep farm, so comes free of the, 'traditional', country smells one is so familiar with. The location is tranquil with beautiful rolling hillside all round. The view from the deck of the cabin is toward the river Severn, over open farmland & countryside. Perfect for watching the sunset.
Spent 4 nights.
Fixtures & fittings in the cabin were well above expectations; Samsung SMART tv, Panasonic Blue-ray player are typical of the quality. There is even an utility room & cloakroom.
Sam (owner) is raising LLeyn sheep so is usually around the farm should anything be required. We always found Sam approachable & helpful especially when it came to local advice.
The cabin is ideally placed within a (usually) short drive of many Cotswold places of interest, although we mainly focused on Slimbridge Wildfoul & Wetland Trust and Westonbirt Arboetum,
Tetbury.
Looking forward to a return trip sooner rather than later.

Very well equipped and tastefully furnished accommodation.Spacious sized rooms which are well set out. Views from lounge and deck area over countryside are lovely.Situated down a quiet lane but with easy drive of amenities and tourist places. Owners on site but not intrusive . Many footpaths from the door or within a short drive.

My fiancee and I had a lovely stay here. This was a relaxing break for us and the perfect base to discover the Cotswolds. The Ham Farm Log Cabin was well equipped with everything we would need on our stay. We would recommend this as a place to stay.

Thank you

“A beautiful rural retreat.”

We stayed for 4 nights in the Ham Farm Log Cabin to celebrate our little boy's 1st birthday. At the end of the break we wished we had booked at least a week, and were reluctant to leave! It was such a special and memorable time.

The cabin itself is immaculate and has everything you could need. If you can tear your eyes from the lovely views at the front and back; there is a huge smart TV to keep you entertained.

The location is peaceful and beautiful but close enough to local amenities and attractions so as not be totally cut off!
(For Townies like us!)

I would highly recommend the cabin, and hope to return again!

“Scenic Country Comfort”

The Ham Farm Log Cabin sounds rustic, but it was very, very modern and comfortable, with all the amenities--including a washer and dryer and a dishwasher. We loved the view over the Severn River from the deck. It was the very nicest place we stayed in our entire three-week trip, scrupulously clean, everything just totally ship-shape. It is on a farm, and we could see sheep on the hillsides sometimes. A lovely place to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing in the Cotswolds.

Liked best: The quiet location and the quality of the accommodation itself.
Liked least: It was a challenge at first to find the Ham Farm, though, actually, we drove right to it with our GPS.

From the moemnt we arrived we loved this place. Ten minutes off the M5 but felt like it was in the middle of nowhere. Sam (the owner) made us so welcome. The cabin is spotless and beautifully decorated with lots of natural light and the views over the countryside and the River Severn are breathtaking. The place is so peaceful and the rolling hills and abundant wildlife made the stay even more enjotable for our 3 year old. We'll definitely return. Highly recommended.

The log cabin was perfect. Brand, spanking new and with everything you'd want - all to a high spec. The fact that it was on a farm with views over fields and out to the hills was exactly why we chose it and it didn't disappoint. You felt as though you were in the middle of nowhere, with just a few charming houses and farms nearby for company. Thoroughly recommend it.
